Early Years Foundation Stage

“I like everything about Reception, I love coming to school because it’s fun!” - Reception child aged 5.

At The Peak Federation we are immensely proud of our Early Years. The children enjoy the creative learning environment, small nurturing classes and access to beautiful outdoor areas, providing lots of opportunity to explore and learn through play.

Our Reception children excel in their learning by following a curriculum that is designed to follow and develop their own interests, build confidence and introduce solid foundations to ensure a smooth transition to Key Stage One.

Children benefit from small class sizes which enables staff to provide tailored and inclusive support and specialist interventions at the earliest opportunity.  

We are fortunate to have highly qualified, and experienced teachers and assistants to provide a nurturing environment where all children thrive and achieve.
