The Peak Federation Bamford and Grindleford Primary Schools

PSHE / RSE

We use Corum Life Education to support our delivery of PSHE curriculum.  This SCARF curriculum stands for: Safety, Caring, Achievement, Resilience, Friendship and this frames whole-school approach that we follow to build on these essential foundations. 

SCARF's whole-school approach supports us in promoting positive behaviour, mental health, wellbeing, resilience and achievement whilst also meeting the Relationships Education and Health Education statutory requirements.

 Topics within SCARF that are covered each half term include:
• Me and My Relationships
• Valuing Difference
• Keeping Myself Safe
• Rights and Respect
• Being My Best
• Growing and Changing

British Values

As part of a broad and balanced curriculum, schools are required to promote the spiritual, moral, cultural, mental and physical development of pupils.
